Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune, Maharashtra, Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College was started under the Patronage of the former Home Minister of India, Late. Shri Shankarrao Chavan, with the object to edify value based education. Their belief is that education is the psyche of a society and the law is not only commitment to memory or knowledge but is an accumulation of theory and practice. The college embarks on all round personality development of students. The college engineers its academic activities in such a way that the students get a platform to interact with legal luminaries.

In this activity, the students actively participate in arguments and preparation of cases in front of judges. The Central Moot Elimination Committee (C. M. E) is responsible for the conduct in the moot court. The C. M. E aims to develop interest in mooting.
