About College
Institute of Hotel Management, Assam was established by the Indian government as food crafts institute but later it was upgraded and was renamed as Institute of Hotel Management (IHM). The institute is financed by the ministry of tourism and government of Assam. It aims at providing best education in the field of hotel management, catering technology and applied nutrition. This institute was formerly known as food craft institute which was set up by the government of India, ministry of tourism. It was fully upgraded into an institute of hotel management. They wish to provide a peaceful environment for studying and learning the art of catering and applied nutrition.
