About College
Tagore Dental College, Tamil Nadu, was started in the year 2007 by Tagore Educational Trust. This college was started under the guidance and leadership, of Prof. J. Mala. In starting they took 100 students to start with. This college is well known for the courses, placements and facilities offered to its students. It is situated in Vandalur which is 30 Km away from Chennai city. This college is spread in 50 acres and have 400 bedded Tagore Medical College as well as a Hospital. The hospitals are fully furnished and are comprised with all the latest equipments. The Dental students out here are trained in the Basic Science, Medical and Surgical studies at the Medical College. The college also has Canteen of boy’s and girl’s in the respective hostel. Apart from hostels and canteen they also have well furnished staff quarters, facilities, sports facilities and Gymnasium.

1. Anti Ragging Cell –
Ragging is strictly prohibited in college and if the students are found indulged in such an activity, they are immediately rusticated or a strict action is taken against them.

The best benefit that all the students get from this institution is that all treatments are done in the same Dental College and most of them are free and if charged then the rates are very minimal.
3. Internship and Placement services: -
Till date 2 batches of students have completed their internship and almost 8th batch of student has recently been admitted for 2014-15 session.
