Maratha Mandal's Dental College and Research Centre, Belgaum was started to create a robust education base in the rural areas of North Karnataka. The college is managed by Maratha Mandal, and this Trust runs over 35 institutions in the field of education. Around 12,000 students undergo every possible course from primary school to degree programs in field of arts, commerce and also professional courses like engineering, dental, pharmacy and polytechnic, etc. and they make the entire part of this colossal socially phenomenon. Being the first dental college in Belgaum, the college focuses on designing the dreams of students that will guarantee actual success in life. The college has set a goal to establish their own general and super speciality hospital.
