Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Orissa was founded in the year 2007 by Dr. Achyuta Samanta. The college was set with the motive of delivering superior educational experience to the students and the faculty. Adding to this it also had the vision of having a caring Dental Service for patients and their families. The college is aiming to uphold the spirit of honesty, integrity professionalism and stewardship. It also seeks to provide outstanding dental facilities to all. After a short span of only seven years, the college has been able to earn the trust and a good reputation from many parents and students.
