The reputation of this college is so much so that the World Health Organization chose this institute to establish a Service clinic in the college. It is also a recognized center for the Ph.D. programme in the six specialties with 3 recognized Ph.D. guides. It is also a centre for numerous ongoing projects with the World Health Organization and the Government of India.
