Manipal Institute of Communication is the constituent part of Manipal University offers specialization in Mass Communication. It was well established in 1997 with a objective to create competent & skillful professionals for the media industry.
The student-strength has grown from time to time. Initially it has started with only 20 students; today school of communication has around 350 students
The location of school of communication is a pleasurable feel with green grass & brown brick (combing culture & nature and) making it a striking place for intellectual pursuits

Utsav Event - It is a one week long program organized every year where students can show up their talents by participating in numerous events like classical Instrumental, Cultural Parade, Light Music, Creative writing, Quiz, Cartooning, Painting, Street play, Western dance, Clay Modeling & Fashion show.
Mega Event - It is basically the event where celebrities perform or you can say show their live performance.
