About College

Jagannath International Management School, popularly known as JIMS, was founded in the year 1997 by the Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society which is a registered non-profit organization. The Institute was established as a Management College to impart high quality education in management and in turn serve society and improve the quality of life. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
•    IMS has been rated as ‘A Grade Management institute’ by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
•    The campus offers PGDM courses duly approved by AICTE (Ministry of HRD). The PGDM program has also been granted equivalence to MBA degree by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
•    It is ISO 9001-2008 Quality Certified Campus
•    The PGDM (IB) students get a free travel cum study trip to Management Development Institute of Sngapore (MIDS), Singapore for a one week certificate course conducted by faculty of MDIS.
•    It has international collaborations with University of Cologne, Germany, MDIS, University of WestMinister and many more.
•    JIMS has also emerged as a premier centre for conducting training, research and consultancy services for both the government and corporate sectors.

•    At JIMS the entire computer center have Pentium based Networking System which runs on Windows platform. 
•    Computer labs with Core i3 2nd generation processors and 18.5” monitor having latest software installed are provided to help in research and development work.
•    The systems are linked to high speed internet connectivity with a bandwidth of 4 Mbps round the clock.
•    There are high speed laser printers.
•    Latest Software is used like Windows 2003 Server, Linux SUSE, Windows 2000 Professional, Microsoft Office 2007, Trend Micro Antivirus and Acrobat Reader 10.0.
•    SPSS, Prowess, Systat, Orell Language Lab are available.

Jagannath International Management School organizes festivals with great enthusiasm. It encourages its students to participate in various events in the festivals so that they can hone their skills and talents. Further, the festivals are managed by the students themselves, so they learn cultural values, management techniques and leadership skills. Some of the festivals are:
•    Markathon: The Annual Marketing Festival, where students participate enthusiastically in various events related to management and specially marketing. Example of such events is Ad Mad, Ad Guru, etc.
•    JIMS organizes an inter campus cricket tournament between various campuses of JIMS
•    A 2 days inter-college gala named ‘Kshitij & Pop-Star Nite 2013’ 
•    Anugoonj: The 3 day cultural and cosmopolitan festival. Students participate in numerous events such as dance, music events, events of fine arts, dramatics, literacy events etc.

Jagannath International Management School provides scholarships to meritorious students based on their performance in MAT/ CAT as per the following criteria:
•    25% tuition fee waiver to students with 90% in MAT/ CAT and 60% in graduation.
•    15% tuition fee waiver to students with 85% in MAT/ CAT and 60% in graduation.
