Institute of Aeronautical Engineering was established in the year 2000. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The college offers Bachelor and Master Programmes in various field of Technology

Extra-Curricular:
- NSS- The college has 1 unit of NSS. NSS conducts activities like Special Camp in Dundigal Village, Blood Donation Camp, Republic Day at College, Aids Rally, National Voters Day etc.
- Vangaurds- Vanguards meaning leaders of the moment, was registered as a Non Profit Social Club on 18th of May 2011 under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001. Under this programme volunteers engaged in improving education in Primary Government Schools
- Sports-Many Students participated at University level and National Level Sports and games and won Gold, Silver, Bronze etc.
- Cultural Activities- It includes Dance, Singing, Photography, Documentary festival, Rock Bands, Traditional day, Fancy show etc.
