Goa College of Engineering, the oldest engineering college in Goa and is one of the five engineering colleges in the state was established in 1967. The college is affiliated to Goa University. It is a government-run college in Goa, India, offering courses in engineering disciplines. It is located in Farmagudi, Ponda. The College is offering full time as well as part-time post graduate courses. It is an NBA accredited degree level engineering college. It is approved by AICTE and funded by Government of Goa.

The college campus is one of the biggest campuses in Goa. The college has four boys' hostels and Two girls' hostels. The campus has staff housing, and guest house facilities for visiting faculty and students.

Events
Happenings: It is an All-Goa Youth Fest organized by the college. The festival was started in 1981. It is officially the oldest college festival in Goa. 2009 saw two other big names performing for the rock show, "Bhayanak Maut" And "Reverse Polarity", both based in Mumbai.
