NRCC is a centre for imparting education on research methodology and updating the technologies for growing cashews in bulk and also coordinates on numerous national research projects.   • Research Collaborations: It has collaborated with various national organizations like UAS(Bengaluru), CIAE(Bhopal), DCCD(Kochi), etc. for various research projects on cashew.
  • Research achievements: Many achievements are done in the researches carried on by our scientists and students. Institute has the largest collection of germplasm of cashews in the whole country – 509 accessions. It also has got the technique for regeneration of cashews from seedling explants and that have been standardized. Also new plants have been raised through micro grafting.
