Ghandhi Smarak Post Graduate College was founded in July 1961. The college is affiliated to V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur and it is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education for B.Ed. programme is a leading educational institution of Eastern U.P. The college is situated at Samodhpur, one of the backward areas, Jaunpur District with an approximate area of 16.67 Acres at Uttar Pradesh. Aim of the college is to provide the young students qualitative education at higher level. The college is said to be one of the best college for engineering in Jaunpur District. Right now the college is divided into two faculties, one is Faculty of Education and the other is Faculty of Arts, under these Faculties College is running various degree courses. College’s vision is to not only give traditional education but also it helps in moral education as well as preparations for career development.
