Indian Institute of Plantation Management was established in the year. Institute is jointly sponsored by the plantation sector & the Commodity Boards like Tea Board, Coffee Board, Spices Board, Rubber Board, and Plantation Associations, viz. Indian Tea Association (ITA) and UPASI. The institute offers programs in plantation sector & other associated agri-business sector. It offers with PGDM- ABPM (approved by AICTE), FPM (Fellow Program in Management) in ABPM, certificate course in Tea Tasting and Marketing (PCP-TTM) etc. The students of the institute are educated by experienced faculty and by some distinguished faculty from renowned institutions.

Students having completed their graduation with at least 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories) or equivalent CGPA may apply for the program. Applicants must also possess a valid score in CAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT. Foreign Students shall need valid GMAT scores as well as TOEFL scores to indicate that they are versed in English.
