Central Marine fisheries Research institute, is a marine fisheries research institute located at Kochi, India. The institute has grown significantly in its size, stature and research infrastructure. After all its efforts and dedicated work, now the institution enjoys the status of a premier research organization which is comparable to any other institution in the developed countries. With the fast changing marine fisheries scenario , the institute over the years has tuned its mandate in consonance with the needs of the time.
