About College
Fatima Mata National College situated in Kollam was established by the first native Bishop of Quilon with the view to provide education facilities in the diocese and to serve primarily to the economically backward minority community of Latin Catholics in the Diocese in Quilon. The college believes that every institute of higher education should act as a catalyst of enlightenment and change and become an instrument of social justice by providing educational opportunities to all. The college aims to promote qualities like love to motherland, integrity of character, belief in the dignity of labor, spirit of selfless service, pursue the task of preparing young men and women for life and instilling in them a commitment to spiritual and moral values.
