Why to join ECGC?

• Variety of courses: ECGC has more than 15 departments of arts, commerce and science which provide graduation in Bengali, Botany, Chemistry, Comp. Science, commerce, English, Journalism etc.
• Awards and Concessions: As a part of student motivation, both scholastically and non-scholastically, awards are given up for various extracurricular activities and also for standing first in Geography (Hons.) and Bengali (Hons.) in the third year University exam. Fee concessions are also provided to poor and meritorious students.
• Social welfare through NSS: the students are a part of the National Service Scheme and actively take part in its activities which take place both outside and inside the college campus.
• Internal Quality Assurance cell: To maintain standard quality education, the institute has Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to keep a check on the institution’s performance and growth throughout the year.
