Entrance Exam & Admissions
The Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education after the completion of higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2020, failing which the candidates may be asked to withdraw from the programme.

The International Management Institute Kolkata has concluded its final placements for the outgoing batch of 2017-19 of its flagship PGDM programme with 110 candidates securing offers. The recruitment process saw participation from 47 recruiters with 116 offers, including 23 first-time recruiters. With more than 44 companies coming to the campus, the placement season witnessed recruiters from across sectors. There was a four-fold increase in the number of offers made by consulting companies this year.
Fees & Scholarships
IMI-Kolkata offers scholarships to the selected students based on academic performance and financial considerations on completion of the 1st year of their PGDM programme. Special admission consideration is also available for students with remarkable achievements in the field of sport, art and culture as mentioned below: Interim Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance Scholarship for Economically Weaker Section 100% tuition fee waiver for meritorious students Scholarship based on Extra-Curricular Activities Special Consideration for SC/ST/OBC (NC)/Physically Challenged Candidates.
Academics & Faculty
IMI-Kolkata maintains a healthy Faculty-Student ratio of 1:12; the faculty members are doctorates from premier academic institutes from India as well as abroad. They also have enhanced industrial exposure to ensure that the learning is never outdated. However, the accent is not on current trends alone, ensuring that the classical theories on management are part of the students’ learning base. Seventeen fulltime faculty members form the core team. They are complemented by visiting and guest faculty members from industries across all sectors.
College Infrastructure
The IMI-Kolkata campus is centrally located in the city and equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructural, academic and residential facilities. The institute offers not only a scholarly and professional ambience, but also a fulfilling campus life necessary for all-round development of the student. The campus buildings are separated into an academic block and a residential block. The academic block is centrally air-conditioned with spacious lecture theatres, equipped with the latest audio-visual teaching aids and wireless laptops for students to access the IMI-Kolkata intranet. The residential block houses single-occupancy hostel rooms for students.
Food Services & Hostel
At IMI Kolkata all rooms in hostel are available on single and twin sharing basis.

Academics & Faculty
IMI-KOLKATA conducts lectures by eminent persons from industry from time to time to enable students link their learning with practical experience shared by corporate people. Eminent persions from academics also are invited to interact with students and update them on contemporary issues related to business, economic and society.
College Infrastructure
IMI Kolkata has a state-of-the-art computing facility for the students on campus. The Computer Centre has nine servers (Dell, HP) with latest Windows Server and Unix based operating environments. The campus has a network of more than 400 computers, and is Wi-Fi enabled to ensure mobile computing at all locations including hostel rooms, classroom , amphitheater and canteen. The campus has a 150 Mbps, 24-hour high-speed internet connectivity.
