About College
University Institute of Engineering & Technology, CSJMU Kanpur running 4 branches of engineering was established in the year of 1996. It offers various programmes in B.Tech, M.Sc., and M.Phil. levels. Students have also placed in top companies and also showed their talents in cultural fiesta and technical events.

Facilities:
- Auditorium- The university boosts centrally air-conditioned auditorium with seating capacity of 1500 people. The auditorium has wall to wall carpeting and world class furniture with enough space for parking.
- Computer center- The computer center offers courses like Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Sciences (P.G.D.C.S.), Certificate courses in Computer Sciences and Diploma in Computer application (D.C.A.).
- Health Centre- It consists of 10 beds and also supports OPD of Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology (Eye), ENT, Surgery, Psychology, Obs. & Gynaecology, Dental & Paediatrics. Full care is taken in the health center with Nutritional consultancy & Diet chart.
Hostel
- 3 hostels for girls and 1 for boys with capacity of 500 and 400 respectively
- The hostel moderates 24 hour power supply, reading rooms, sports facilities, mess facilities and TV room
- 28 normal deluxe rooms
Festival:
- Spandan- The annual cultural festival of the college
- Techmart- It is the annual technical festival of the college.

Admission in UIET Candidate should pass final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent with chemistry, mathematics and physics from this university or any other recognized university. Selection of the candidate to the above mentioned courses is done on the basis of UPSEE Entrance test conducted by APJAKTU.

Admission for B.Tech through an Entrance Examination conducted by UPTU, GBTU(Lucknow).The minimum academic qualification for appearing in the Entrance Examination is pass in the final Examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
