Madhuben and Bhanubhai Patel Women Institute of Engineering was established 2009 by Charutar Vidya Mandal. MBICT is not only the first engineering college exclusively for girls across Gujarat, but also the first college to introduce a need-of-the day courses like Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The College is a Self-financing, Non-Autonomous with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Gujarat Technical University (GTU), Ahmedabad.
The institution presently offers 4 Under Graduate courses in engineering that are Computer Science Engg, Computer Engg., Electronics and Communication Engg, Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Humanities Department etc.
