About College
Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology, a premier college of Maharashtra was established in 1998 as Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Women's College of Engineering. It is converted into Co-education College with a changed name as Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology in 2002. The Institute is situated in the vicinity of Pimpri Chinchwad industrial belt, which is one of the biggest industrial belts in Asia. It is safiliated to University of Pune. The College is approved by AICTE ​ ​New Delhi and DTE Maharashtra.
