Kakinada Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) was founded in 2008 by Srinivasa Educational Society. KITS has set its goal to be a leader in providing quality education and training in engineering, technology and management and to contribute to the knowledge base through scientific enquiry, applied research and innovation. The college is located in the Tirupati (v), Divili. KITS campus is spread over 13.6 acres.
