About College
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University is a privately owned A grade accreditated by NAAC university. It is multi-campus and multi disciplinary research university that became a university in January 2003. The 5 campuses of the university is spread over 400 acres in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Ettimadai, and Coimbatore. It is also ranked as No. 1 private university of India in Asia University Rankings 2016.
Ministry of Human Resource Development has also placed it as the top university. It was formerly known as the Amrita Institute of Science and Technology. Commonly known as Amma to millons around the globe, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi is the founder and chancellor of the university.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University Provide Best placement Service for students & 2011 pass out batch had more than 95% placement. Most of them were software companies. Almost 10% were placed in Core industries.
