The Faculty of Law, Gujarat University is the top college in the state of Gujarat. The faculty was established in the year 1977. The School of Law is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC). In the year 1982, it was shifted to present building.
Being a challenging institute in the nation, the school of law has strong faculty members who are experts in the field of legal education. Dr. K. C. Raval and Dr. S. P. Rathor are two notable faculty members of the institute. Faculty members are quite enough to give education in different subjects of law such as Commercial Laws, Consumer Protection Laws, Taxation Laws, Human Rights, Child Rights, Environmental Laws and Intellectual Rights.
