About College

IMNU, Institute of Management, Nirma University is a constituent of the distinguished Nirma University (NU) which is an autonomous university located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and functions under the aegis of Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF). The oldest private university of Gujarat, Nirma, originally affiliated to the Gujarat University got established in the year 2003 as a constitutional university under the Gujarat State Act at an enterprise of the NERF. Henceforth, NERF established several leading institutions including ‘the Institute of Management’. Previously known as Nirma Institute of Management, the Institute was established in 1996 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

 

Organisational History

 

IMNU owes its establishment to ‘The Nirma Education & Research Foundation’which was established by the well-known philanthropist and industrialist Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel (Chairman, Nirma Ltd.) in 1994 with the objective of instructing the best in education and erecting a strong foundation for the upcoming generations of India. The NERF, established four leading institutions

  • Nirma Institute of Technology in 1995
  • Nirma Institute of Management in 1996
  • Nirma Institute of Diploma Studies in 1997
  • Nirma Institute of Pharmacy in 2003

 

The Institute of Management, established to promote brilliance in management education and to prepare young women and men to meet the challenges of the developing corporate world has gained recognition as one of the top B-Schools in the nation in a little span of less than a decade.

The institute has different fees and expenses for different programmes. The same for few major programs is as indicated below:

 

 

 

MBA (Full-Time)

  • Tuition Fee approx. Rs.3,95,000/- per annum
  • Hostel fee approx. Rs.50,000/- per annum

 

BBA-MBA

  • Tuition Fee: Rs.1,25,000/- per annum + other applicable fees for BBA Phase
  • The fees of the regular MBA programme of the Institute shall apply for MBA Phase

 

MBA (Family Business and Entrepreneurship)

  • Tuition fee approx.Rs.2,30,000/- per annum exclusive of hostel fee, activity fee and other charges applicable

 

Ph.D. (Full Time)

  • A stipend of Rs.12,000/- per month in the first year and second year and Rs.14,000/- from the third year onwards

 

Ph.D. (External)

  • Annual Fee of approx.Rs.30,000/- exclusive of other expenses

 

Executive Diploma Programmes

  • Each of the Executive Diploma Programmes has a course fee of Rs.46,000/-, which includes cost of tuition, teaching materials, lunch and refreshments
  • Fee is payable in two instalments of Rs.23,000/- each
