University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) Bangalore was established in the year 1917. It is the 5th Engineering College to be established in the country. This is one of the oldest technical institutions in the country in the various disciplines of Engineering and Architecture.

Placements are all governed by students themselves every branch from all final year students choose couple of coordinators for placement works who put effort for the placements and get students placed. Till date UVCE has been recording excellent placement in IT and little less of about 60% in Core branches.

I completed my diploma in Computer science and took DCET karnataka Entrance Test i got 938 DCET rank which is fair enough to get seat in any top college in karnataka i choosed Computer science because I want to be an IT professional i choosed this college because UVCE has high reputation and fees is also less compared to other colleges this college has good placements too.
