SIIB, Symbiosis Institute of International Business located in Pune, is an autonomous institute established in 1992.The Symbiosis Society is the visionary creation of Padmashree Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, whose dream to live the philosophy - Vasudev Kutumbakam – 'The World is a Family' has created an environment where students have come to breach the boundaries of culture, religion and nationality.
In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India conferred the "Deemed to be University" status on Symbiosis, and further in 2006 the UGC vide its notification withdrew the word Deemed and renamed the University as Symbiosis International University (SIU). SIU is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade.
It has been recognized as a B- School that combines an excellent academic foundation with a strong leadership perspective. In an increasingly globalised world, SIIB is ahead of the curve. The pioneering work in commencing focused MBA programs in International Business (1992), Agri-business Management (2004), and Energy & Environment (2009) has been lauded by industry. Wakad Team
|
They believe that knowledge is proceso thay have adopted a local municipal school near Wakad. They prepare their curriculum and study plan for the students of 8th class. They also take Computer classes, English classes for them and visit them twice a week. |

Evening Team |
They believe in bringing the change, by first changing their own thinking. They teach the children of the non-teaching staff, from students of classes 4th to 10th help them in Mathematics, Science and English and also for students in 12th both commerce and science background. |

Green Team |
They have being sub-divided into a set of three teams -Food Team, Energy Team and Plastic Team. Food team deals with the food consumption in our mess, Energy team will be conducting a survey involving 500 houses and find out their energy consumption patterns in their houses, and Plastic Team deals with reducing the plastic usage in the campus and innovative ways to utilize the excess plastic in the surroundings. |

What is the eligibility criteria for MBA (Agri-Business)
Candidate must have a bachelors degree obtained through their Graduation or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.
