About College
Digvijay Nath Post Graduate College, Gorakhpur was established in 1969 by the managing committee constituted under Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad, Gorakhpur. It is situated in civil lines, the heart of Gorakhpur city in east Uttar Pradesh. The collage offers Bachelor degree and Master degree in the field of Arts and Science. The College is affiliated to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University and approved by NAAC.
Infrastructure
The college encompasses an area of 6.785 acres but on two separate pieces of land. The total built up area is 27459 m2 comprising Administrative Block, Arts Block and Library Block. The B.Ed. and Science classes are conducted in the classrooms available in the administrative block. There are in all 19 departments.
