About College

Dhanwate National College, Nagpur was established in 1935 and is run by Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati which is the premier academic institution in Central India. It is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, having Arts and Commerce faculties up to Postgraduate level, imparting instructions in English and Marathi mediums.

• The DNC is the only accredited center of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance in Vidarbha region
• Dhanwate National College has been Accredited B++ by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), Bangalore
• The College has been bestowed upon the status of “College with Potential for Excellence” by UGC (University Grants Commission), New Delhi

Library

There are more than 75000 text books available in the Central Library. Libraries have Indian and Foreign Journals, Magazines, Bound Volumes of Magazines, Compact Disks (CD), Text Book CDs and Audio Cassettes. The institute does give the students, faculty and researchers a serious thought on choice and availability of reference material.

Computer Labs

The institute has three independent Computer Laboratories each for the Granted Courses, Management Studies and the Self-Financing Courses. With more than 200 Computers, a dozen of Laptops, Scanners and all types of Printers including Laser, Ink-Jet and Dot-Matrix
