University of Burdwan, Bardhaman was started by the Government of West Bengal initially with 35 under graduate colleges offering 6 departments, spread over 5 districts. Presently, the university has 139 colleges offering 30 programs under its jurisdiction. The University is built on the land held by the West Bengal government from the last Maharaja of Burdwan, Udaychand Mahtab in 1950.

What is the eligibility to take admission in M.Sc. In Computer Technology?
B.E. or B.Tech/B.C.A./B.Sc.(IT)/B.Sc.(E.Com.)/B.Sc.(Comp.Sc.) candidates or science graduate (10+2+3 system) with Mathematics at degree level are eligible to apply for admission to the course. Admission is based on academic records & performance in a Written Aptitude Test. OR Lateral entry to the 3rd semester of M.Sc. course for the graduates with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 stage, after having completed successfully the course of e-DAST or PGCACS or its equivalent conducted by CMC Ltd.
