Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKV) is one of the recognized educational institutes of Uttar Pradesh. It has been contributing in the field of education since a long time and still has a long way to go. The university was established as an effort to give more strength to India’s Freedom Struggle against British. It was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi during the Non-Cooperation Movement of the freedom struggle on February 10, 1921
