The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) is one of the pioneering institutions in India offering a varied range of courses to students from all across the country. The university campus is known as Vidya Vihar.

Library

The professional foundation for the library services of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow was laid in January 1998. It was then housed in two rooms on the second floor of the 3^rd Block of the Administrative Building. The collections of the Central Library are:

Hostels

• The University Boys hostel is centrally located on the University campus near the southern city gate of the campus.
• Hostel for boys have 120 large and nicely equipped rooms which can accommodate near about 200 students and the hostel mess boasts of facilities such as a TV room, indoor games, and beautiful gardens add to the splendor of the hostel.
• The girl's hostel too is a nicely designed one with a capacity of 20 rooms and furnished with modern facilities

Festivals

For the overall development of a student, he/she must be given ample chances to prove his/her worth. University festivals contribute a lot towards this aspect which gives the students the opportunity to meet new people and open up to the world and showcase their talent.

• Every year, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University organizes an Inter-University Youth Festival
