Vinayaka Missions University (formerly known as Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation), Salem began its origin with the establishment of Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust by Dr A Shanmugasundaram in 1981. Vinayaka Missions College of Pharmacy was started in 1982 and was conferred the ‘Deemed University’ status by Ministry of Human Resource & Development (Govt. of India) in 2001.

What is the Eligibility criteria for Engineering Program?
Candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with individual pass in English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Admission to various undergraduates, postgraduate and research programmes offered by the University is done based on appropriate All India Level Common Entrance Examinations(CEE) conducted by the University every year.
