The placements are really great. Almost 100% placements. But if you are looking for a "Core" job in ECE, EEE or Mechanical, then the opportunities are limited. Around 10% of the students get place d in such jobs. They do not provide any assistance for getting internships.
They charge a nominal fee. All fee payments are available online, making transactions simple and easy. Every semester they provide scholarships for the top 10% of students. The top 2% get Rs.16,000 and the next 8% get Rs.8000. Apart from this there is a separate Hostel Scholarship.
On the mechanical side, they have decent lab facilities and the faculties are average to good.
The library is very good for academic purposes. They need to update it with other fictional and non fiction books. The sports facilities are good. There is a very good football ground, a very good gym and decent ground for cricket and court for basket ball. There is free WiFi throughout the campus and hostel.
The hostels are good. The rooms are adequate. Although the hygiene is good, the food taste is bad. They really need to improve this. And, there is no Non Veg food( not even egg) available within the campus.

You require JEE Scores with gud percentage to grt in. Else, high marks in boards will help.
Read Full ReviewVarious companies visiting the campus offer internships. TCS is a mass recruiter from Sastra. Other companies include Amazon, Paypal and Zoho. College ensures 100% Placement.
You can avail Education loans from banks. All transactions are through online only. SASTRA has tie up with CUB and all transactions are through the CUB net banking facility. You can get Scholarships for hostel and tuition fees if you maintain your CGPA over 7.5.
All faculty are well learned and their performance is reviewed frequently.
Highly equipped technical accessories across all labs. Well equipped Gym. Sastra conducts a sports fest every year named Colosseum. 24*7 wifi for laptops ( not for mobiles ).
Mess is of good quality and hygiene. But, please do not expect good taste. Taste is too bad on all days except for weekends. Lunch is good on a few days. Hostels are gud. They charge nominal fees for hostels.

You can apply with your +2 scores and intermediate scores. And they also consider jee scores primarily. You can also apply though an NRI quota. Which costs you 5000 usd per year. (5000*4) . Cut off was at 95% for cse. For IPE marks. And it keeps varying year to year.
Read Full ReviewIt has an outstanding record of campus placements. If you have 6+ GPA. You are eligible to attend most number of placements. Having 7.5+ can get you eligible for all the companies including Microsoft, musigma, Ford etc. Minimum package was at 3.8. Maximum was 22.
Fees at 35000 per semester. For a normal admission. 5000 usd per year for Nri quota. Loan facility is available at IOB.
Faculty is excellent. I can explain about them better on a call. But for now. I can say, they're above average. It has a handful of really talented people.
It's wonderful. I would say it's one if the best infrastructures in tamilnadu. But you don't get to use motor vehicles inside the campus. Gym is not bad. Wifi is wonderful. You've a huge cricket ground and a football grass court.
I should say that's upto your location. If you're a North Indian. You WILL hate the mess food. But then the canteens not bad. You can manage it there. They're not very heavily priced. Rooms are not very clean. You don't get AC. and you will have frequent power cuts. There is NO NON VEG FOOD in the whole campus. You need to go out of the gate to find some non veg food.
