ANNA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, MADURAI added a new feather in higher education.  15000 students are studying in 36 affiliated Institutions.

• The university presently offers 17 UG program and 32 PG programs.
• Located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The University was established in the year 2010.
• Member of the Association of Indian Universities. Since establishment The University has improved the quality of higher education in Tamil Nadu.
• Gives opportunity to research in some offbeat fields like Information Technology, bio-informatics, robotics, medical electronics, Mechatronics etc.

The University already makes a reputation for world class teaching facilities with fully-trained faculty members. There are 36 affiliated institutions in the districts of Madurai, Singangai, Dindiguli, Ramanathapuram and Theni. Two autonomous Government Institutions at Madurai and Karaikudi and a Central Electro Chemical Research Institute at Karaikudi open more path for higher education in Tamilnadu.

Besides higher education, The University arranged progammes to give more encouragement to students.  On January 2013 they organized a laptop distribution program. They celebrated voters’ day, republic day, and women’s day with cultural activities. On MAY,2013 honorable Chief Minister JAYALALITHAA gave her wishes and appreciates the University as a new wave-pioneer of higher education in TAMILNADU.

•    DISTANCE EDUCATION : 
Distance Education Centres are specially planned for professionals of corporate sectors. The University offers special packages to fulfill demands of corporate companies. The employee who wants to pursue distance courses, there are many facilities for them:
•    They will be sponsored by their office in which university can understand details regarding term and conditions for employees.
•    The interactive sessions may be arranged in office premises for them.
•    The date and time of the sessions can be fixed in flexible time with managements’ permission.
•    Specialization can be arranged as per need of employees.
