Rajasthan Agricultural University, Rajasthan, is well known for courses in agricultural research and education. This institute is famous for agricultural engineering courses in India and provides an opportunity for the students with its education quality.

• The vision of RAJASTHAN AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY is to create a learning environment for agriculture knowledge in the domestic and international markets which can lead to strongly internetworked community to exchange the issues, concerns, policies with the help of debate amongst the students, faculty, society, farmers and the government
• It was established to study system of agricultural research and education in 1987.
• It offers high quality education degree, diploma and certification programs in agricultural field. 
• Located at Rajasthan, the university was established by State Legislative act of Rajasthan in 1987.
• Since the establishment, due to its recent programs in agricultural sciences it has been a unique university by delivering higher quality education to students.
• The academic courses are offered at Jobner campus and Bikaner campus.
• Jobner campus is the oldest institution of agriculture in Rajasthan.

RAJASTHAN AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY is spread over around large hectares of land in the range of Rajasthan. The university has caters the agricultural sciences fraternity. The vision is to develop manpower as per the current market and technology. It also offers growth for the existing faculty. It offers courses in agricultural sciences sector in various departments and centers as given below:

Facilities:

The university, RAJASTHAN AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, offers several facilities to its students so that they can pursue their courses without any hindrance and achieve the goal of their life through the education offered by it.

Hostel: The University offers accommodation/hostel facility to most of its students.

• The hostel provides hygienic food and facility for recreation.

Library: The central library of RAJASTHAN AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY is one of the most rich and well equipped university libraries in India. It is well connected with LAN & Wi-Fi and is open for its students and teaching staff.

• It has 35000 books, 6000 journals, Phd thesis and dissertations, digital books in form of CD ROM, 250 full text research based journals for reading.
• The institute also has unique library management software to manage database online for the books.

Consultancy and Research: There are lots of consultancy assignments for the students in the field of agricultural research to understand the problems and issues faced by the farmers.

Computer Laboratory: It is used for the computer applications for the students. It exposes students with the web and latest computer program.

Health Care Center: Situated at RAJASTHAN AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY the Health Care Center is always ready for the checkup of its residing students and teaching staff. The facilities available at the Health Care Center of the University are mentioned below:

• Specialist advises are available in ENT, Medicine, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Dentistry, Orthopedic, Gynecology and Cardiology.
• Referral services are available.
• 24 hours ambulance facility   

Some other facilities include sports, student’s grievance cell Anti Ragging Cell, Placement Cell, etc. All these facilities ensure the students that they can pursue their academic program in this university without any hindrance.
