About College
Jai Narain Vyas University has been on a roll since its inception. The University had been inaugurated by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the former President of India on the 24th of August, 1962. It offers 40 Post-graduate programs, 30 under graduate programs, 10 post-graduate diploma programs and 5 diploma and certificate courses in Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Engineering, Commerce & Business Management, Information Technology and Foreign Languages
- The University has been recognised by the UGC
- It has been accredited with "B" grade by the NAAC
- The University was previously known as University of Jodhpur
- The campus is sprawling over an area of 764.75 acres
- The University had been inaugurated by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the former President of India on the 24th of August, 1962.
- Shri Jai Narayan Vyas was an ex chief minister of the Indian state of Rajasthan. He was also a leader of the famed of Indian National Congress party. He was from this city only (Jodhpur)
- Shri Jai Narayan Vyas along with other political activists from Jodhpur shape up a society ("MarwarHitkarniSabha" meaning Marwar Improvement Society) to provide for education without any ‘alien’ influence

Placements and job opportunities are a milestone to the organisation.Though the placements are usually of average emoluments, travel and food expenses are also covered and at the end of the appointment, a character reference is usually examined. Trainees usually have the opportunity to network and make contacts among the working personnel. He hostel facilities are quite impressive in department of management studies.Both boys and girls have a seperate apartments for residence.The mess is common for all the students. Seniors are very helpful by the nature.They always guide the juniors the best possible ways to stand up and move forward in the life.Also the provide help by giving notes and all the guides for a successful management degree.The best part is the seniors have their own group for helping the students in need. The faculty is the most strong pillars of the management campus which always brings a positive note in the minds of the candidates and therefore makes them understand about the positives and negatives of the mistakes which the students tends to commit. Our college d provide an opportunity for providing internships. The best scholarship available for the poor students is the 'mahatma gandhi scholar scheme' which works as an aid to all the low category students.Even the loans are available at a much cheaper rate and therefore money is not a barrier to smart study at dms.The fund needed for the education can also be availed by an ngo working for the benefit for the students.
