  The hustle and bustle for placement at LPU begins in sixth semester for four year programs and in the fifth semester for three year programs. One has to enrol for the placement classes if one wants to avail campus recruitment drives. For each discipline there is a definitive allocation of seats. For example CSE students are categorized for product-based companies (120 seats at least) and service-based companies. The students who opt for placement drives have to pay placement fees.. This includes fees for PEP classes and interview preparation classes like Aptitude, analytical skills, verbal ability, Soft skills enhancement and Interviews, coding and other core subjects classes. The students then appear for placements interviews in front of companies.
