About College
Dev Samaj College for Women, a highly prestigious and the oldest institute of Punjab was established in 1957. It offers several additional courses designed to cater to academic needs of the students. The college has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell which monitor, implementation of quality measures. It is recognized by UGC under section 2(f) and 12 (B), act 1956. The College has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council with A grade.

Library
- The library consists of more than 62,000 books. This being one of the oldest libraries in the region, the researchers within the region and outside are encouraged to make use of this facility
- Science department of the college has its separate library, well- stocked with over 700 books of Science and Mathematics
- Twenty Computer Systems with Free Internet access have been provided to the students and staff

Multipurpose auditorium having sitting capacity of 600 students with state of the art multimedia system & centrally air conditioned
