Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar was established in 1962 with only two Colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary Science, has made impressive record of service in the cause of quality education. In the pace of decades the University has grown with seven colleges and one Centre for Post-Graduate studies with different departments.

What is the eligible criteria for Admission into B.Sc. (Ag) /B.Sc. (Hort.)/ B.V. Sc. & A.H./ B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.)/ B.F.Sc(Fishery)/ B.Sc. (Forestry) & B.Sc. (Home Science), for both boys & girls, for the Academic Session, 2016-17
Students having +2 Science with minimum of 50% mark in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST/PH) including extra optional are eligible. However, students appearing +2 Science Examination can also appear the Entrance Examination (Please refer Clause- 2.1 of the UG Prospectus). Pass out students of OUAT Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic Course may apply off line for Admission into UG Courses of their streams (for detail please refer Clause- 3.5.6 of the UG Prospectus) .
