There are 27 affiliated colleges and 1 constituent college. The city is well connected by Air from Kolkata, Imphal and Guwahati and also well connected by road from shilong, silchar and Guwahati etc.

a) 50% of seats will be filled through JEE-CSAB. The other 50% will be filled through Mizoram University Engineering Entrance Exam. (MZU EEE). Higher Secondary or 10+2 exainaion or its equivalent from any recognized Board having secured a minium 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates).
