• The university came into existence in the year 2012 and has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
• The university began its responsibility of imparting education from the year 2012-2013 and the students have already opt for this university for pursuing higher education
• It has under its affiliation, 177 colleges in which thousands of students have enrolled their names
• It has adopted semester pattern for the diploma, degree and post graduate courses which have their term for more than one year.
• The university is the only one after Mumbai University in Maharashtra that has adopted the semester system for all its courses from the first year itself.
• For evaluation of the exam papers, the university has adopted the CGS (Credit Grade System) which would strengthen the student’s position in their career.
• The university has a taken a bold stop to offer courses that not only follow the usual academic pattern but courses that are job oriented and that bring forth the special talent of the student

The university doesn’t believe in charging imposing heavy amount as fees from the students as its vision is to promote the lower strata people who are financially not so sound.
