About College

Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth is a privately owned university was given the university status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, vide Notification No. F.9-39/2001-U.3 dated 11th January 2003 of the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary & Higher Education, New Delhi, and (ii) Notification No.F6-9/2003 (CPP-I) dated 24/01/2003 by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. It is also A Grade accredited university by NAAC with membership with Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is also ISO 9001 : 2008 certified deemed university.
The campus of the university is located in Sant Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri, Pune, Maharashtra. Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth also provide Malaysian Medical Council recognized MBBS degree with which you can practice in Malaysia.

Research:
Research is very important for the academic development of the University. The students are given the scope to go for research works. A huge number of teachers are involved in the research works.
