About College
Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University was established in the year 1991 under the State Assembly Act. University spread knowledge irrespective of the student’s age, gender, caste and religion. University’s main objective is to extend and expand higher education by reaching the remote areas through means of open and distance education. Currently 1.5 students are gaining profit of higher education through university.

Collaboration:
The university has an academic collaboration with RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India).RCI acts as regulators the syllabi for physically disable persons. It maintains the Central Rehabilitation Register where it keeps the record of all qualified professionals and personnel working in the field of Rehabilitation and Special Education. RCI also takes necessary action against the unqualified persons who used to serve the disable persons.
Facilities:
Gyanvani: University has established its FM radio channel for conducting various radio conferences and also for broadcasting various lectures in partnership with IGNOU, New Delhi.
Research Cell: University has research facilities or its Ph.D. students and Research Scholars
EDUSAT Education: The University provides EDUSAT satellite based education. The students can get benefits of Interactive education facilitated by university. University has installed 40 Satellite Interactive Terminals which covers 32 study centers in 8 offices of University.
