About College
Visvesvaraya Technology University is a public state university that was established by the Government of Karnataka in 1998. VTU is named after Sir M. Visvesvaraya, a notable Indian engineer, scholar, statesman, and the recipient of the highest honor Bharata Ratna. It has currently 202 affiliated engineering colleges, 1 constituent college, and 17 Autonomous colleges with undergraduate courses in 35 disciplines, a PG program in 94 disciplines, and Ph.D. & M.sc(Engg.) and research programs in 592 departments. It has also received accreditation from AICTE and COA.
The campus of the college is spread over an area of 115 acres in Jnana Sangama, VTU Main Road, Mache, Belagavi 590018.

Visvesvaraya Technological University campus is awesome. Hostel are good and provides all the facilities which student required for his study. Alumni network is wonderful. At there Faculty has extreme knowledge on the subjects. Every year as to collaborate on guidance sharing meetings to juniors from seniors students. Placement is awesome in my college.

Internship experience provided us a very good amount of corporate exposure. It was an individual project work. Which provided in depth practical knowledge about how the firms works and how do the finance department works in a firm.
