About College

Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA) was established in 1986.  It is a University which is dedicated to the teaching of yoga along with other studies

  • S-VYASA is the first ISO 2001:2008 Certified Yoga University
  • The university campus, Prashanti Kutiram,  is sprawling over an area of 100 acres
  • S-VYASA is located at Giddenahalli, Jigani Hobli, Anekal Bangalore, in the state of Karnataka. which is 30 Km from centre of Bangalore and 14 Km from  Bannerughatta National Park
  • It has been recognized by the UGC.
  • The university also offers courses in distance mode
  • It awarded as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 in 2002
  • The university has 114 Ph.D., 51 M.Sc. with 410 students in various branches
  • S-VYASA facilitates Advanced Yoga techniques such as CM (Cyclic Meditation), PET (Pranic Energisation Technique), MSRT (Mind Sound Resonance Technique), MEMT (Mastering the Emotions Technique), MIRT (Mind Imagery Technique), VISAK (Vijnana Sadhana Kausala) and ANAMS (Anandamrita Sincana)
  • The university has signed MoUs with about 20 leading Universities and Research Centers all over the world for conducting collaborations research in Yoga

Library

The university has well-equipped library with collection of over 15000 books, 35 Titles, Videos and Audios. Swami Vivekananda Yoga Prakashan is the publication wing of S-VYASA.

Arogyadhama (Health Care Centre)

S-VYASA has Yoga Therapy Research Health Home, named, Arogyadhama ,with 250-bed inpatient treatment facility.

There is an well-furnished auditorium with seating capacity of accommodating 100 people.
