The National Institute of Technology Karnataka is also known as NITK, Surathkal and is one of the 30 NITs of India and is reckoned as one of the top technological universities of India. It was established in 1960 when it was also known as the Karnataka Regional Engineering College. Hows the placment service ?
In terms of placements NITK 2013 15 batch out of 26, 20 got placed and remaining 6 were refused to take job comapnies like Robert Bosch, Practo, Oracle, Infiniti Research, Quest Global, Capital via, Axis Bank, Tonguestun, TCS, Mindtree, Metal and Future First average package offer by these companies were 4.5 lacs, highest package was 8.5 lacs and lowest package was 4 lacs.
Wht is the admission criteria ?
I appeared for the CAT and i got 80.28% ile in CAT 2013 for me MBA is only option i am commerce graduate i choose this college because of college fees and second thing this is government institute and obviously NIT is a brand name fees of this college is around 2.5 lacs for 2 years.
