Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubli was formed under the Karnataka State Law University Act, 2009. It is a ‘People’s University’ committed to provide quality legal education completely socially relevant for everyone. It is the single largest Federal University in the country with 92 colleges under its jurisdiction and is headquartered at Navanagar. At present it offers 3 years LLB, 5 years BA LLB, BA LLB (Hons.) & BBA LLB (Hons.) programs in addition of LLM, PG Diploma, PhD & LLD.

Bachelor of Laws admission criteria is graduated in any discipline of knowledge from an Open or Deemed recognised or established under the UGC Act, after having studied in the pattern of 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in case of general category applicants and 40% marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
