About College
Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan was started by the efforts of Maharishi Markandeshwar University Trust. Its foundation stone was laid by Shri Prem Kumar Dhumal (Hon’ble Chief Minister, H.P.) on February 22, 2009. The university began its academic session from 2010. It is conferred as a Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956.

This University infrastructure is very good. Its campus is about 180 acres. The faculty is very good over here and so is the research and development area the placement is also good. Universum and the callosum are the main events organised over here. There are 14 hostels inside the campus the fees of the college is very affordable it provides merit scholarship also and have spot complex where students can play any game they want and the college provides kits for the respective sport to the student.
