About College
Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla was established on July 22, 1970. It is a Public, Non – Profit University funded by Govt. of Himachal Pradesh & UGC, New Delhi. The university is recognized by UGC & accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university has 300 affiliated & constituent colleges. It has a sprawling campus of 200 acres located at Summer Hill, 5 km from the main town of Shimla.
