In btech course the priority order for the companies coming for placement is like CSE,IT,ECE,EE,Civil,ME The training & placements cell works very hard to get their students placed and help them get the required knowledge and skills.They call up various companies for placements.But majority of the companies are service based and operational and few are product based coming from core technical sector but anyways placement records are very good.Students get a lot of opportunities to get placed. •Any paid internship or unpaid internship? Yes you may get opportunity for internship as the mmu campus itself has its own business park which comprises of good companies offices which help you get in office internship as well as college arranges a lot of job oriented trainings and workshop during the course period.

•Experienced & supportive Faculty? Yes •Regularity of classes? Classes are regular. MMU follows digitilized biometric attendance system.So, the classes are regular and there is never any mass bunks.Also, they are very much strict for attendance and a student has to maintain 75% in each subject of a semester to appear for the exam of that respective subject. •Is syllabus upgraded timely? Yes,infact this new course introduced i.e. B.Tech in Software Development is a recent update. •Practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge provided equally? Yes,timely guest lectures and workshops are arranged for proper knowledge.
College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is just outstanding.Students get nice,aesthetic,peaceful infrastructure much better than any other in the competition in this fees structure. •Wi-Fi availability? Yes, 24*7 whole campus is now Wi-Fi enabled and you get to experience best services in the hostel. •Proper availability of sport complex and gym? Yes,university has its own sports complex and gym in its premises which is completely free for the students.Also, students have other options of paid gyms as well outside the college campus. Students also have option to join one of the modern gym provided by MMU in its 3-star hotel i.e. M.M Continental. •Spacious and well built library? MMU houses a Central Library; additionally each constituent institute has its own library and provides to its students and staff a chance to explore a world of knowledge in a conducive environment, by making accessible a rich collection of print and non-print, primary and secondary material in various disciplines. The Libraries support the academic as well as research needs of thousands of students and hundreds of teachers of the University. The university collection comprising Books, CD’s, Videos, Theses, Standards and Back Volumes in all campus libraries expanded to 164720. The University subscribes to 740 print and more than 12000 e-Journals. More than 1650 seats are available for its users to be accommodated at a time. We have membership of National Networks, such as, NPTEL, INFLIBNET and DELNET etc. We use library management package, namely SOUL marketed by the UGC centre-INFLIBNET. Using the integrated library software SOUL, the complete database of library holding of books & library membership including students, faculty, research scholars, and non teaching staff has been created. Through OPAC the user can search or know the status of an item/ reading material of his own choice in library holdings. The library is also a member of NPTEL, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins e-collection, EBSCO-Management, IEEE, ASME, ASCE, SCC Online, EBSCO Hospitality and Tourism Complete, Bentham Science, Criminal Law Journal Database, EBSCO Dentistry, Turnitin Plagiarism Software and k-hub: a virtual library, Animal Simulator, AIR Supreme Court Database, is accessible to all the users of University. The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), a project funded by MHRD has developed curriculum based video courses and web-based e-courses. This has been undertaken by 7 IITs and IISc Bangalore as Partner Institutions and other selected premier institutions as Associate Partner Institutions through a collaborative effort. The broad aim of the project NPTEL is to facilitate the competitiveness of Indian industry in the global markets through improving the quality and reach of engineering education. We have membership of National Networks, such as, INFLIBNET, NPTEL and DELNET. All the bibliographical database of these networks, comprise of books and back volumes. The collections of various institutions in India and Overseas are accessible to our users for searching. For instance, DELNET offers access to more than 20.37 million records of books, 36939 union list of current periodicals, 20235 records of union catalogues of periodicals, 912042 records of periodicals articles and 70293 records of thesis and dissertations held by 2134 libraries in India and 22 Overseas libraries. Almost a similar kind of data is accessible on INFLIBNET also. MEDLARS is accessible to all users of Medical Science. Collections Reference Books: All libraries have a good collection of reference books comprising of dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, manuals and directories etc. Textbook Section: All the libraries have a Textbook Section, where at least one copy of each textbook is kept for reference. A book out of this section can be issued for over-night use only. Videos CD’s: University has a rich collection of Videos, CD’s in the field of Health, Technical and Management. Career Corner: Books related to various types of competitions, namely, GATE, CAT, SAT, GMAT, GRE, IELTS, NTPC, UPSC, USMLE etc. are available in the campus libraries. Back Volumes: For research, back files of journals are very essential which are ample in number in all the libraries. Back files of Law Journals are a back-bone of any law library. For instance, Department of Law has AIR Supreme Court (Weekly) from 1950 to 2013 and AIR High Court from 1950 to 2013 Criminal Law Database 1950-2013, which are accessible on computer. Thereafter till date, they are available in the form of hard copy. Another proud collection among the back volumes is The Journal of Prosthodontic Dentistry, which we have right from Vol. 1, covering the years 1951 to 2013. Record: Library staff has made a Square Pyramid of Books which is entered in the “Limca Book of Records” in 2013. And till date this record exist, nobody else has yet broken this Record in the world. Library Journal: University Library is publishing its own journal entitled “International Journal of Information Dissemination and Technology” (ISSN 2229-5984, eISSN 2249-5576). IJIDT is an International repute Journal in the field of Library Science and Information Technology which is being widely circulated. The Journal is accessed online through out the world and nearly One Million hits are recorded till date. This Journal is Indexed with abstracts on Google-Scholar, Index-Copernicus, DOAJ, EISRJC, New Jour, J-Gate, Proquest, Ulrich's Periodical Directory, SCRIUS, EBSCO, INSPEC, NewJour, k-hub, Library Literature & Information Science Index (H.W. Wilson) etc. Global Impact Factor 2012: 0.876 and Index Copernicus Value 2012: 5.66. Library Services Reference Service Internet Browsing Service Current Awareness Service Reprographic Services Reservation of Books Departmental Library Use of Thesis and Dissertation as per the conditions Question Paper Database Inter-Library Loan We obtain books on inter-library loan from various institutions in India using the inter-library loan facility of DELNET. All the to and fro postal charges spent for the Inter-Library Loan are borne by the University. Thus the service is totally free to our users. •Well equipped labs available? Yes, well equipped labs. A 3-star Hotel-cum-Resort with facility of a five star hotel has been opened to provide accommodation to visitors and also to act as Laboratory for the students of its Institute of Hotel Management. There are auditorium with seating capacity of about 1500 peoples and an open air theater in which 2500 people can seat. Most of the Cultural events of the University are conducted at the auditoriums and in the open air theater. There was Pro Training & Placement cell is doing lots of efforts for placements.

Infrastructure is good, hostels are clean and hygienic, with proper WI-FI system. Electricity is available 24*7. Faculty is good and placements are done every year, many good companies visit the college and give students a very good package. Its near the national highway connecting Ambala Chandigarh and Roorkee Haridwar. All types of shops are availbale in the campus. Railway station is also near to the college. Bus service is available for cities in Haryana.
